About Olivia
Olivia is the founder and owner of Salon Opal, bringing over eight years of professional experience in the hair industry and more than five years specializing in hair extensions. Certified in multiple hair extension methods, Olivia has always had a lifelong passion for helping others feel beautiful. Born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Olivia has drawn much of her inspiration from the sun, sand, and ocean.
Her deep love for the beach and coastal lifestyle has influenced her approach to hairstyling, leading her to create a salon that embodies the relaxed elegance of the shoreline. The result is a space where clients can achieve that perfect “sun-kissed” look, all while feeling at ease and refreshed.
Olivia’s vision for Salon Opal was to merge her love for hairstyling with the tranquil vibes of the coast, creating an experience that’s both luxurious and welcoming. She wanted to craft a space where clients can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, indulge in a little self-care, and enjoy the serene charm of the beach. Known for her warm and inviting atmosphere, Lindsey ensures every client feels comfortable while she creates stunning, fresh looks that leave them feeling confident and beautiful. She is trained in multiple different coloring techniques, constantly delivering exceptional results for her clients.
As a dedicated content creator, she also shares her expertise and creativity online. Outside of work, you can find her vacationing on the coast of South Carolina where she enjoys spending quality time with her family, and exploring local boutique shopping.

At Salon Opal, we operate as an appointment-only salon to ensure our stylists have ample time to prep and prepare for each appointment, allowing them to stay on schedule and provide the best possible service to every client.
To protect our stylists and their busy schedules, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or change the appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the service booked. We also have a strict no-show/no-call policy. If you miss your appointment without notifying us, you will be charged 100% of the service booked. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting our time and ensuring we can continue providing the best service to all of our clients. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please reach us via phone or email.
We welcome any inspiration photos or videos you bring to your appointment, as they help both you and your stylist to clearly communicate the desired look. We kindly ask that you arrive with clean, dry hair that is free of any products. This ensures that our color products can work effectively. Lastly, just bring yourself—along with a book, computer, or anything else that helps you relax and enjoy your time during your appointment.
The timing for maintenance can vary depending on the service you're receiving and how quickly your hair grows. As a general guideline, for grey coverage services, we recommend every 4-6 weeks. For highlighting services, a touch-up is typically suggested every 2-4 months, and for balayage, every 3-6 months. However, these timeframes can differ based on individual hair needs, so your stylist will provide personalized recommendations for the best maintenance schedule.
Our complimentary extension consultations cover everything you need to know about extensions, whether you’re interested in wefts, K-Tips, or clip-ins. We’ll discuss how much hair you’ll need, the pricing for both the hair and installation, as well as the maintenance required for the extensions you choose. Please note, to book a weft extension service, we require payment for the hair in advance. This ensures that the hair you've selected with your stylist will be ready and delivered on time for your appointment. To book a K-Tip extension service, you may be required to pay a deposit to hold your appointment date and time.
We do not offer bridal services at this time.
While we adore your little ones, we kindly ask that you leave them at home during your appointment. We work with strong chemicals in a small space, which can be harmful to young children. Additionally, if you and your friend don't have appointments scheduled at the same time, we request that you come alone. Our salon is equipped to accommodate only those with scheduled appointments, so to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone, please bring just yourself.
There are designated parking spots available behind our building. Please be cautious pulling in and out of the driveway, as we are situated on a busy road.

She has mastered both hair cutting and coloring, combining precision, creativity and the latest techniques to deliver stunning results that keep her clients coming back year after year. Barbie’s long standing success is a testament to her exceptional skills, with a loyal clientele who has remained by her side for nearly four decades. Outside of work, Barbie loves taking long runs on the Cape and cherishing time with her new grandson, family and friends.
